shield your business from risk

Data leakage - the unauthorized skimming or theft of data by third-parties - is a chief concern for digital publishers and website operators.  Those who leak data also leak revenue.

The most immediate threat is from middlemen who take publishers’ data without their knowledge and use it to create directly competitive audience-based offerings for advertisers. The mid-term threat is page latency: the more rogue pixels that get crammed into a publisher’s page, the longer the wait time for users, the lower the publisher’s search rankings, and the sharper the decline in overall site traffic over time.

Until recently, publishers have been facing an un-winnable battle.

  • Third parties have enjoyed unfettered access to their web pages and hard-won audience assets
  • Legacy advertising technology has provided little or no visibility or support for monitoring those activities
  • And the industry as whole has relied upon data-related Ts & Cs riding on good faith alone

One cannot monetize an asset that is not under full control.  And one cannot control an asset that is being skimmed and stolen a speckle at a time. This simple truth has been reflected in our platform release cycle from day one.

Given the fundamental importance of data protection to website operators, Data Sentry was our first platform module to be released, and its launch changed the entire industry's perspective on the importance of proactive data protection.  Find out more.
